Who are we? What is 044 Mime Company?

Our physical theatre is a space where movement, physicality and emotions become the main languages of expression, and the stage turns into a place of deep, intuitive experiences. From the very beginning, we chose a vector of development that combines the traditional means of pantomime with modern approaches to physical theatre. However, along the way, we noticed that pantomime as a genre did not give us the space for expression that we were looking for.

We are 044 MIME COMPANY - Contemporary physical theatre.

044 Mime Company is not just a name. Our name consists of a number and two words. This number 044 stands for the Kyiv area code, and we decided to keep a piece of Kyiv (Ukraine) in our company.

This is theatre where the body speaks more than words, and where every movement becomes a reflection of human experiences and thoughts. 044 Mime Company consists of three young artists: Kateryna Spodoneiko, Pavlo Vyshnevskyi, and Oleksander Symonenko. We graduated with a master's degree from the Kyiv Circus Academy and have been practicing pantomime for ten years.

Pantomime is an artform that has a long tradition in Ukraine. We graduated with a master's degree from the Kyiv Circus Academy and have been practicing pantomime for ten years. Our theatre has participated in many festivals in Ukraine and abroad.

044 Mime Company consists of three artists: Kateryna Spodoneiko, Pavlo Vyshnevskyi, and Oleksandr Symonenko. We perform and teach pantomime from deep within ourselves and our worldview.

Pavlo Vyshnevskyi

Director, mime actor

Pavlo explore pantomime almost 12 years. His first big director work was in 2019, with team "ILINASTROE", called "INTERNAL". He had many projects like mime actor, director, dancer and juggler.

Kateryna Spodoneiko

Communication and marketing, mime actress

Kateryna is sociable, energetic and flexible in her work. She has good experience in team communication and marketing, and her first experience was in the 044mime company. She has almost 10 years of professional experience as a pantomime actress and has participated as an actress in the shows "Internal", "News" and "Time".

Oleksandr Symonenko

sound producer, mime actor

Oleksandr is a member of 044mimecompany. Before in teams "ILINASTROE" and "KMT". He has been practicing the art of mime for 12 years. He got skills in music writing at the Kiev school "Module Exchange".
